I Believe, therefore I am.
The belief system is sacrosanct for every human being. The belief system comprises multiple ideologies, experiences, and thought processes that humans garner over a while in their life. These are further strengthened by reoccurrences of the events which make a lasting impression on the human subconscious.
It doesn’t matter what are the qualities of this belief system, whether they are good or bad, moral or immoral, ethical or unethical, superficial or genuine; the only thing that matters is, whether the belief system pulls you up from the doldrums. It assists you when life has shocked you when you are completely lost in the whirlwinds of the misfortunes. It works as a torch when you have lost your way in the darkness.
Life would also test your belief system on several occasions. It is also unto you to safeguard your belief system and make it stronger, flourish it in normal times. Every challenge in your life would make the belief system stronger and help you to overcome new challenges. Be loyal to your belief system, like you would to any human being you are very close to. It will repay you like an obedient servant when you want it the most.
Never jump boats in the slightest of confusion or the attractions of the other belief systems. The frequent shifts would make your subconscious fragile and dwindle. It would cover your mind with confusion and turmoil. You don’t need multiple boats to sail through the turbulent waters of life. You just need one steady boat and a steadfast captain to take you through. Your belief system is that captain. Trust your captain with unwavering faith and dedication. We would certainly face numerous spurts of torments, woes, and afflictions during the voyage. But not to fire him when the boat hits the rocky surfaces or meets iffy weather.
You would find many people near you glorifying their beliefs. They would tell you the tales of how their belief systems worked wonders for them. They would sell their belief systems to you and urge you to adopt them. Never fall into such traps. It takes years to develop your belief systems. Switching beliefs has its own cost and would take years to come to fruition and be useful, if at all.
